Top 5 Wednesday: Top 5 SFF books on your TBR!

Top 5 Wednesday is a Goodreads group Here.

This week's T5W is about what Science Fiction and Fantasy books are on your TBR that you really want to read!

1. The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

I've heard so many good things about this book! A diverse Character-driven sci-fi story! Why haven't I read this yet? I really hope I can get to this either this month or next! It needs to happen!

2. Huntress by Malinda Lo

A Fantasy story with lesbians...sign me up!

3. Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor

A Fantasy story i've heard so many people love! It sounds interesting and I can't wait to finally read it myself!

4. The Martian by Andy Weir

I've also heard mostly good things about this sci-fi book. A guy stranded on Mars has to survive.

5. Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton

I have never seen the movie...so of course that means I need to read the book first!

What Science Fiction and Fantasy books are your TBR? Have you read any of these books and if so what did you think of them? (No spoilers please)

  1. Great choices! I just read The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet last month and loved it. I remember loving Jurassic Park too when I read it years ago.

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting! I hope I enjoy them too when I read them :) I believe I will. Both of those are also on my Top 15 books I *have* to get to this year list, so *crosses fingers* I get to them soon!

  2. The Martian is SO good! As for Jurassic Park...a classic! Michael Crichton is my all time favorite author. If you like his style, I highly recommend "Prey" and "Timeline"!

  3. I haven't read any of these books yet, but I'd really like to read Daughter of Smoke & Bone, The Martian AND The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet. As for The Huntress, this is the first time I see anyone mention it, but the concept sounds intriguing. And, let's face it, the cover is plain gorgeousness, which usually helps.

    1. Yeah I haven't heard a lot about the Huntress, i've heard a little more about Ash which is by the same author and while Huntress came after it's apparently a prequel to Ash. So I have the Huntress and will give it a read before checking out Ash. :) I don't remember where I first heard about them though.
Gorgeous covers generally do help <3
So many books, so little time ^_^
