End of Year/December TBR aka Way Too Many Books

There is a chance I might get some of this read during late November, but whatever, close enough. Here are all the books i'll be CHOOSING from December. I say that because I have serious doubts on my ability to read them all. They also aren't all the same priority level, but i'll discuss that. So without further ado, THE BOOKS. Also in different sections, because reasons.

Books I'm Currently Reading That I Really Really Want To Finish

The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales
Horrors! 365 Scary Stories
Cum For Bigfoot: Volume One
Toil & Trouble: 15 Tales of Women and Witchcraft
Tentacle Sex Collection
Alien Sex: 19 Tales by the Masters of Science Fiction and Dark Fantasy
The Picture of Dorian Gray and Three Stories
Far Orbit: Speculative Space Adventures

I can guarantee i'll finish...at least 3 of these. Grimm's Fairy Tales I started...oh almost 3 years ago. Read too much too quickly (the first 60 out of 211 stories) and got burned out. Started again this year reading so much every month. I just have to read November's and December's stories and i'll finally, FINALLY BE FINISHED AND VICTORY WILL BE MINE! MWAHAHAHA....ahem. I also started Horrors! 365 Scary Stories at the beginning of the year, reading as many stories each month as there are days in that month. I've read November's, just have December's! The last that I will definitely be finishing is Far Orbit as that is a group read for the "Spells, Space & Screams: Collections & Anthologies in Fantasy, Science Fiction, & Horror" group.

I read the first part of Cum for Bigfoot earlier this year. The first part is free on smashwords Here. Why you ask? Curiosity. "But Curiosity killed the cat" yes, but "satisfaction brought it back". Seriously, it's like no one knows the whole saying. Google it. It's far from the only saying people only know half of which then makes the saying's meaning sound the exact opposite of it's original intention. Sorry, it just bugs me that for so long I thought sayings ment one thing when it was completely wrong. Like how "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb." also got mangled. But anyway, off that tangent (sorry) you're probably still like "ok...WHAT SATISFACTION". Well the first volume of Cum For Bigfoot is the first 5 (out of 16) parts. There is also a volume 2 (parts 6-10) and 3 (parts 11-16). I've only read the first 2 parts so I still haven't finished the first volume. I did buy all of them. Because reasons...curiosity...#DontJudgeMe It's actually well written and interesting. To me anyway.

I want to finish the first volume this year and read volumes 2 and 3 next year. While I have it all in physical form, you can buy each part as an ebook so no one has to know, but i'm cheap and physical is actually cheaper. Want to read bigfoot porn on the privacy of an e-reader? You have to pay more. But I have #NoShame #NotAGuiltyReader Sorry I just highly believe in not being ashamed of what you are reading. In not having "guilty" pleasures. No need to feel guilty! But i've already made a blog post about that *coughHerecough*. Though I do understand how it can be awkward...to say the least.

I've read the first 3 stories in Toil & Trouble, and gave each of them 5 stars! And I got it an as e-arc....oops. I've read the first story in Tentacle Sex Collection (out of 3) and enjoyed it. I've read the first 3 stories in Alien Sex and enjoyed the first 2. I've read The Picture of Dorian Gray..and did not enjoy it, but there are 3 more stories so I feel like I must read them so I can actually rate this book. I've rated DNF's but this is different as they are different stories. I've only read 1 story in Far Orbit so far.

Graphic Novels

I Hate Fairyland Volume 4
Saga Volume 9
Monstress Volume 3
My Little Pony: Pony Tales Volume 2
Dance in the Vampire Bund Volume 8
Food Wars Volume 11

I believe I read 24 graphic novels last year? And it was my first year of reading graphic novels, and I fell in love! So I wanted to read more this year. Which I have. I've read 30, so if I read these 6 i'll be at 36 aka 3 a month, up from 2 a month (on average) from last year. Graphic novels I can generally finish within a few hours. I know I hear so many people saying they read them in half an hour... I have NO idea how they do that. An average one takes me at least 2-3 hours, minimum (not shaming fast readers or anything, just saying it takes me longer). That said if I push myself I can finish 2 maybe 3 a day. I've been loving all these series! I can't believe I Hate Fairyland Volume 4 is the last one T.T.

Goosebumps

Say Cheese - And Die Screaming

I will be reading at least 2 Goosebumps books hopefully but i'm not sure what the second one is yet, as it's with the Goosebumps Book Club Here. I actually need to buy Say Cheese and Die Screaming, and the discussion is on the 15th, so i'll be reading this in the last few days before the 15th. But Goosebumps don't take me any longer than a graphic novel, if even that long, so it's not a problem. (Edited Later: There is a break between this one and the next, the next Goosebumps book will be at the end of January so i'm only reading one in December)

Buddy Reads

Silent Night 1
Silent Night 2
Silent Night 3

These are also buddy reads that I plan on participating in. Fear Street books aren't all that long either for that matter.

Group Reads

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
We Sold Our Souls
My Best Friend's Exorcism

These are up in the air. I'd LOVE to get to them, as they are group reads in groups that I am a part of, and I have them already. But we'll see what happens I guess. If I don't get to them in December there is always next year!

Random

Bird Box

I have Bird Box on the list because a movie of it is coming to netflix December 21st! I have it on kindle and have been wanting to read it but haven't gotten around to it yet. But if I don't read it by December 21st I can still read it after, I just want to read it before I watch the movie.

Holiday Stuff (Other)

Krampus: The Yule Lord
War on Christmas
Better Watch Out
It Had to be You
Coconutty Christmas
Merry Murder
Christmas Shopping
Collected Christmas Horror Shorts
Ghosts of Christmas Past and Other Dark Festive Tales
The Naughty List

MOST of these are short stories, so it's not nearly as bad as it looks! Krampus: The Yule Lord I actually read a few years ago, and I keep wanting to re-read it every December and I never have yet! It Had to be You is a short lesbian holiday romance story. Coconutty Christmas is a short holiday romance in Hawaii and I freaking hate the cold winter so yes please! The rest is all holiday horror!

Have you read any of these, and if so what did you think (no spoilers please)? What are you planning to read in December?
